The OnBase Certified Installer (OCI) designation is a professional credential awarded by Hyland Software to experienced, OnBase installers who demonstrate expertise in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of effective OnBase solutions. These individuals possess and maintain the skills necessary to create successful OnBase implementations based on an organization's business requirements.

Successfully Complete the Pre-Installation eLearning Course

This 90-minute, eLearning course provides you with the essential background information you need to succeed in the Introduction to Installation course.

This five (5) day course is designed to prepare IT professionals for their roles as OnBase installers.

Successfully Complete the Installer Certification Course

This five (5) day course is designed to extend your knowledge of the OnBase installation process beyond the basics of the introductory course.

Complete an Implementation Report (IR)

Download, fully complete, and submit the OnBase Implementation Report (IR). The IR will be reviewed and certification will be granted.

The Introduction to Installation course provides the foundation of knowledge necessary for you to be successful in the Installer Certification course
All OnBase certifications are valid for two years and can be easily renewed in two-year increments.
See the Recertification Options section above with details on how to renew your certification for an additional 2 years.

Absolutely! As long as your certifications are current, we encourage you to include them in your resume or e-mail signature.
You will retain your OnBase certifications until they expire, but you will not have access to OnBase resources or systems until you are again employed by an authorized OnBase partner or customer.
